Membership

The member ship of the Calicut Management Association offers a verity of services to meet the growing needs of managers. Members will be able to contribute as well as exchange/enrich their experience by attending the meetings, seminars and training programs conducted by the Association.

Categories of Members

There are four types of members viz. Ordinary Individual Members, Associate Individual Members, Student Members and Institutional Members. Except students, any member can be a life member by paying the life membership fee.

Ordinary Individual Members

Shall consist of any individual who has a University Degree and possesses managerial experience of at least five years in the Corporate Sector or in his own business of considerable magnitude. Undergraduates with at least fifteen years of managerial experience in Corporate Sector or in his own business of considerable magnitude are also eligible.

Associate Individual Members

Shall consist of such individual who are working in the managerial cadre in Corporate Sector or in his own business considerable magnitude but do not have sufficient years of experience to qualify as Ordinary Individual Members.

Student_Members

Should be a student in a recognized Indian or Foreign University for the Graduate/Post Graduate program. He/She must have management or any allied discipline as the main or optional subject. He should be a person interested in Management Education and his intention in seeking Membership of CMA is to further develop his knowledge and mutually benefit from the Association with Professional Managers. He/She should not be in employment/business.

Institutional Members

Industrial and Business Organizations Management Training Institution etc. are admitted as Institutional Members. Institutional Members are eligible to nominate three representatives to attend the various programs and meetings of the Association. But Institutional Members shall exercise only one vote on any meeting.

Professional members of AIMA (Fellow, Member and Associate Member) whose sphere of activity is in the area converted by CIMA are automatically members CMA.
